FEMINISTS DISRUPT BERNIE FINN’S ‘MARCH FOR THE BABIES’ FORCED BIRTH RALLY

Bernie Finn’s annual ‘March for the Babies’ (or ‘March for the Foetus’) was severely disrupted today by two pro-choice feminists who crashed the stage during Bernie Finn’s speech, wreaking havoc on the far right event for the 5th year in a row.

One feminist activist unfurled a banner reading “Pro-Life Is A Lie, You Don’t Care If People Die. Stop Black Deaths In Custody”. While the other feminist activitst ripped off her dress to reveal a “Pro-Abortion, Anti-Fascist” t-shirt.

Both women chanted “You’re not marching with God, you’re marching with Nazis!” in reference to the neo-nazi group the ‘Proud Boys’, who attend the antiabortion (forced birth) rally each year.

A spokesperson for Whistleblowers, Activists &

Communities Alliance (WACA) stated:

“Bernie Finn and his followers claim they care about the babies, whilst people are dying around us as we speak” said the spokesperson.

“This crowd only care about your unborn foetus, AND only if you’re white, rich and straight. The March for the Babies couldn’t care less about the parents or kids once they are born and especially if they are First Nations kids who are still dying in custody from racist police violence and still being stolen from their families”

“Bernie Finn is leading a forced birthing movement that associates with white supremacists, Proud Boy neo nazis, homophobic and transphobic agitators, who are hellbent on taking away the human rights and bodily autonomy of women and gender diverse people across this country” said a WACA spokesperson.

Whilst Bernie Finn and his merry band of Proud Boy neo nazis’ are demanding the Government take away basic healthcare for over half the population, down the road at the State Library today, thousands are rallying in support of the Blak Sovereign Movement, calling for an end to police brutality and blak deaths in custody. Over 555 First Nations people have died in Custody since the 1991 Royal Commission, with not one police officer charged for any deaths.

White Supremacy and misogyny go hand in hand and the recent attacks by no nazis on Lidia Thorpe only highlight the dangers of allowing the far right to gather unchallenged on our streets.

“We stand in soldarity with First Nations people, people of colour, all women and gender diverse people whose bodies have been brutalised by the violent, white supremacist patriarchy of so called

Australia. As feminists and activists we will continue to confront the neo nazis and far right every time they gather on our streets, in an attempt to inflict more violence and regulations on our bodies”

“There is no gender justice without First

Nations justice. Stop blak deaths in custody! Always was, always will be aboriginal land”
