Students, staff, and community members have blockaded the University of Melbourne’s ‘Melbourne Connect’ on Swanston street this morning calling for an end to the Israeli regime’s occupation and genocide in Palestine. Workers have been blocked from entering all three public entrances to the building, bringing the University’s usual business of supplying, supporting, and justifying genocide to a halt for the day. The community is calling for this to continue until the University cuts ties with the weapons industry.
